The Bible says that we have power in our testimonies. Our testimony is something that God has done for us. When we tell that testimony to other people, great things can happen. People can grow in their faith, and recieve hope, simply by hearing what God has done for you.

The testimonies below have been written by members of the First Apostolic Church of Dublin.

    Feature Testimonial

    My Never Ending Testimony

I call this my never ending testimony because there will always be more things that God will do for me and can be added to the list of things He has already done.

About a year ago my family and I went through a hard time in our lives. Many of my friends either could not or did not want to understand what we were going through. Because my friends had no desire to help me out, I felt alone most of time. God, however, would never stop being my friend. He helped me through the tough times and is still continually doing so today.

Since I have started driving, I have realized how important it is to pray every time I get in the car. Numerous times I have almost been hit my a car driven by a careless person, including a bus and a semi-truck. I thank God everyday that He has kept me safe when I go out on the road.

A few days ago, a girl in my math class threatened to punch me. She continued to tell people throughout the day that she wanted to beat me up. Once again, God was watching over me and kept me safe. The girl has not said or done anything to me since that day when I prayed. God keeps His hand over us everyday at school and at work.

You always hear the stories on the news about children and teens bringing weapons to school. We all just blow it off and say," oh that will never happen to me," but of course this time it did. A few days ago a 14 year old freshmen boy at my high school was accused of possessing a loaded hand gun. The previous day a boy had burned his bandana. This freshmen felt that bringing a gun and apparently shooting him would solve all his problems. Therefore, he brought the gun and his friend supplied the bullets. I thank God that the gun was discovered soon enough and that no one got hurt. I am so thankful that I am one of God's children and that He keeps me safe.
